PRODUCTS AND SERVICES OFFERED
HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres offers an extensive range of automotive aftermarket products and services. This includes but is not limited to the supply and fitting of:
- Tyres for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles
- Partial and full exhaust assemblies
- Catalytic converters
- Brake pads, discs and shoes
- Shock absorbers
- Car batteries
- Windscreen wipers
- Alloy wheels
- Wheel alignment
- Air-conditioning recharge
In addition HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres is licensed by VOSA to provide MoT Testing and also provides car servicing.
If you have booked an MoT test or Service please visit the HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentre you have selected on your chosen day for the work to be carried out.
If we have specified a particular time, please be punctual or our ability to offer the service that day may be impacted. If you have booked either a morning or afternoon MoT test please observe the following:
- For morning MoT tests your vehicle should be with us by 8:30am
- For afternoon MoT tests your vehicle should be with us by 12pm
- For Servicing, your vehicle should be with us by 8:30am
MOBILE TYRE FITTING SERVICE
We will do our best to ensure that our Mobile Tyre Fitting unit arrives with you at the agreed time and to complete the work agreed with you within the time given to you. We will inform you as soon as reasonably practicable of any delays or complications with the agreed fitting by one of our mobile units.
INFORMATION ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND GUARANTEES
- You have the right to cancel at any time before the instructed work has commenced
- There will be no charge provided no costs have been incurred. Where costs have been incurred you will only pay for the work completed or the cost incurred.
- Payment for the costs incurred will be required prior to the removal of the vehicle
- Deposits will be refunded only if no costs have been incurred.
Under normal conditions, no storage charges will be applied, however, storage charges will be payable to HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres in relation to any abandoned vehicles or vehicles not collected from HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres for a period of 30 days following completion of the work undertaken by HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres on such vehicle.
For drive-in customers payment is required in full on completion of the work and prior to the removal of the vehicle.
Our online prices are for retail customers only.
With the exception of Warranty and Service Exchange Parts, parts removed will be held for 14 days before disposal by HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres. All disposal and waste parts are disposed of in accordance with current environmental regulations and legislative requirements. A fee will be charged for this service.
Wheels removed from your vehicle to be replace with alloy wheels purchased from HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres will be left with you unless otherwise agreed with HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres.
Subject to your statutory rights (which shall not be affected by this provision), once fitted to your vehicle a tyre, wheel or any other part cannot be exchanged.
Subject to your statutory rights (which shall not be affected by this provision), it is not possible to offer refunds after purchase for any parts that have been used on your car. If you believe that a tyre or wheel we have fitted is faulty, we may offer you the option of purchasing a replacement while the original part is sent to the manufacturers for analysis.
If the manufacturer confirms that the product is faulty the cost of your replacement purchase will be refunded. We do however offer extensive guarantees on our work and parts (see ‘guarantees’ section below).
HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres offers the following product guarantees. The guarantees are not transferable and apply only to the person who purchased the original parts. If you would like further details please contact or ask your Centre manager.
Please also keep your invoice safe as this will be needed if you want to make a claim. These guarantees do not extend to any monetary or compensatory claim, in particular consequential or additional losses.
TYRES LIFETIME GUARANTEE
Tyres covered against manufacturing defects throughout the legal life of the tyre. Only tread used will be charged for if replacement is necessary provided the tread depth exceeds the minimum legal requirements. Tyres may have to be returned to manufacturer for inspection.
Vehicle wheel alignment is affected by road conditions and driving circumstances and therefore adjustment cannot be covered by HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres Guarantees. However should you have reason to believe that further adjustment is necessary we will check and re-adjust (if required) free of charge within 30 days of purchase.
All exhaust systems sold by HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres come with a 2 year unlimited mileage guarantee. Catalytic converters are covered by a 2 year guarantee and may need to be returned to the manufacturers for inspection.
It may also be necessary for customers to have their engine management system and associated components checked to ensure that they are in good working order. NB: Chromed or 'chromed effect' parts can sometimes suffer a natural surface deterioration. This is not covered under this guarantee.
All new brakes fitted by HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres carry a 12 month guarantee.
HOW TO CLAIM UNDER YOUR GUARANTEES
Just take your vehicle or part to any HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentre together with this guarantee, your original receipt and your brake report (if applicable). Please be sure to keep your original paperwork safe as a failure to produce this could impact your ability to claim.
Please note that proof of purchase is essential before any work can be started. All parts originally purchased at HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres are covered by these guarantees. The guarantees apply for the date of original purchase and are not transferrable.
HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres will dismantle and repair or replace at its discretion any defective parts and reassemble them on your vehicle free of charge, subject to these guarantee conditions. Before any work can be carried out under guarantee, HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres will conduct a full inspection and Report.
If any work is required to be carried out other than by HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres, approval must be obtained from HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres Customer Services by calling 01536 526910. HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres is not responsible for any part removed from the vehicle or tampered with by any person other than HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres.
Parts failing as a result of criminal or malicious damage, fire, theft or where the parts have been repaired by another garage or individual or used for competitive motorsport or on a taxi are excluded.
These guarantees do not cover any defect caused by reasonable wear, tear or corrosion, or any costs incurred through loss of use. Manufacturer's conditions of sale apply to all goods sold.
All HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres guarantees are in addition to and do not detract from your statutory rights.
HiQ Easy Tyre & Autocentres reserves the right to update, change and/or amend the Terms and Conditions contained in this site without prior notice.
