NACHO TYPICAL MARKETING MANAGER EMBARKS ON A MEXICAN ADVENTURE!
A kind hearted automotive manager will be downing tools for a heartfelt adventure to Mexico - after signing up to volunteer at an orphanage.
Emma-Jane Kisby wonï't be travelling to a typical holiday destination, but visiting the stunning Yucatan peninsula of Merida, Mexico to teach underprivileged children the English language.
Among her duties, Emma-Jane will organise fun activities and visit the children of various children's homes and communities, experiencing daily life through the eyes of the local people.
As marketing manager for Easy Tyre & Autocentres, HiQ's largest franchise, Emma-Jane has become a figurehead for the company after raising thousands of pounds for their charity partner, Breast Cancer Care.
Emma-Jane said: "I'm really excited, if a little nervous, about the trip. I've always wanted to work on a project with children and experience a different way of life."
"I can't wait to meet the children and I hope, in some way, I will be able to enrich their young lives with fun and laughter. It's going to be emotional, but definitely worth it."
Emma-Jane found the volunteering program through the site Original Volunteers who offer a worldwide range of programs from animal conservations to nursing and healthcare in over 18 countries.
